Terms and Conditions for Professionals
Last updated:
Draft. This text is pending legal review and is not yet the definitive version.
If you are a hairdressing or barbering professional, these terms govern your use of Stilo Business: the platform where you manage your schedule and receive bookings.
1. Purpose
Stilo Business allows independent professionals and businesses to register their availability, receive client bookings, and manage their reputation on the platform. Stilo facilitates the connection; your responsibility is to deliver quality service as agreed.
Professional: an individual registered on Stilo Business. You can use the FREE or PREMIUM plan.
ENTERPRISE Business: an owner or administrator who affiliates professionals. See terminos-negocios for details on that model.
2. Registration requirements
To register as a professional:
- Valid mobile phone number (OTP verification)
- Valid identity document
- Identity verification selfie (KYC)
- Truthful professional data (name, specialties, location)
Stilo performs identity verification by capturing a document and selfie from the app. You must be of legal age and have the right to practice the profession in your jurisdiction.
3. Truthfulness of published information
You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you publish:
- Actual business hours
- Services you actually provide
- Prices and rates
- Business location
False or misleading information can result in account suspension. Stilo verifies client complaints about serious inconsistencies.
4. Portfolio photos
You can upload photos of your work (cuts, styles, etc.). You are responsible for:
- Having authorization from photographed individuals
- Not infringing on third-party rights
- Complying with local image regulations
Stilo reserves the right to remove photos that violate these requirements. Photos you upload remain under your license; Stilo may use them for platform marketing purposes unless you disable them in settings.
5. Responsibility for the service
Stilo is not responsible for the quality, safety, or integrity of the service you provide. You are solely responsible for:
- Complying with local health and safety regulations
- Maintaining professional standards
- Resolving conflicts directly with clients
- Ensuring your services comply with applicable law
6. Tax and financial obligations
You are exclusively responsible for your tax and social security obligations. Stilo’s model is that you are an independent professional (not an employee of Stilo). You must:
- Register as a taxpayer if required by law
- Issue receipts according to local standards
- Declare income
Stilo may provide activity reports to facilitate your compliance, but is not responsible for regulatory compliance.
7. Schedule management and bookings
7.1 Your responsibility
- Keep your schedule updated in real time
- Confirm or reject pending bookings
- Notify changes in availability
7.2 Cancellation policy
If you cancel a booking without valid reason repeatedly, Stilo may issue warnings. Abuse of cancellations can result in temporary suspension.
7.3 Client data
Client phone numbers and names are provided only for booking coordination. You cannot use them for direct marketing without explicit consent.
8. Plans and subscription
8.1 FREE plan
- Appearance in searches when there is proximity with client
- Basic schedule management
- Visible ratings and reviews
- Standard support
8.2 PREMIUM plan
- Featured appearance on the map and searches
- Extended metrics (booking trends, cancellations)
- PDF report export
- Priority support
PREMIUM pricing and billing terms will be shown in the app. It is a monthly subscription. [TO BE CONFIRMED: cancellation and partial-period refund policy. This is a commercial condition the team defines.]
8.3 Subscription payment
The subscription is billed according to the payment method registered in the app. If payment fails, you will be notified. [TO BE CONFIRMED: how many retries are attempted and what happens to the account afterwards. It must match what the backend actually implements.]
9. Google Calendar integration
If you connect your Google Calendar account via OAuth, Stilo can sync your availability between both systems. You can disconnect at any time. Google is responsible for your data with Google; Stilo acts as an intermediary facilitating the connection.
10. Suspension causes
Stilo may suspend or delete your account for:
- False registered information or failed KYC verification
- Repeated violation of these terms
- Verified client complaints (harassment, systematic poor service)
- Illegal activity
- Non-payment of subscription (PREMIUM plan)
Suspension is immediate if it is for legal reasons. In other cases, you will be notified with an opportunity to respond.
11. Commission and revenue model
Stilo DOES NOT charge commission per booking. The client pays you directly for the service. Stilo’s model is the professional subscription (PREMIUM). This is designed so you maximize your earnings without per-transaction fees.
12. Modifications
Stilo may modify these terms. Material changes will be communicated with at least [TO BE CONFIRMED: notice period] of notice. If you do not accept the changes, you can request account closure.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [TO BE CONFIRMED: applicable jurisdiction].
14. Contact
